Riley's birth and early weeks : We welcomed our newest family member, Riley Wood Anderson, into the world on Sunday Feb. 26, 2012. She weighed 8lbs 4oz and was delivered in an emergency C-section. Quite an emotional day for us but everyone is healthy and happy. Natalie loves being a big sister. Warning that the videos at the end are shot in the operating room and you may or may not want to see them.

Kauai 2009 : To escape the winter blues, Adam and I escaped to Kauai in January. We stayed in Poipu and the humpback whales were everywhere you looked this time of year. We had 4 amazing dives and had close encounters with sea turtles, white tip reef sharks, and the endangered monk seals. We took a catamaran trip to the Napali Cliffs and got VERY seasick because of the 10 foot seas, but did see a bunch of spinner dolphins and lots and lots of whales breaching.

Honeymoonin' in St. Lucia : We spent 10 glorious days at Ladera in St. Lucia, a very small open air resort on a cliff overlooking the Pitons. Stunning views, open air suite with a dipping pool, being serenaded each night by tree frogs, infinity pool, and the best restaurant on the island with Chef Orlando Satchell's sexy Caribbean creations. Who could ask for more? We did a rainforest tour, had some incredible dives with turtles, squid, florescent corals and so much more sea life! Spent lots of time relaxing on Jalousie and Anse Chasnet beaches. We also went with Chef and other couples to the Friday night fish fry where the locals caught an 800 lb Blue Marlin and a crazy guy entertained us with his air guitar.

Holland America cruise : I was lucky enough to be sent on a Holland America cruise for work (my new role in Windows marketing for empty nesters/baby boomers), and I was able to take my mom along for the adventure! We saw the Microsoft Digital Workshop in action, went zip lining in Puerto Vallarta, and spent most nights singing our hearts out at the piano bar with all the other cruisers. Very fun week.

Christmas in Yuma 2009 : We had a wonderful Yuma Christmas this year, with lots of family time and love and laughter. Adam got a lot of new daddy practice with my cousin Amy's adorable baby Leigha who is 5 months old. He changed his first diaper and did his first bottle feeding! I had a lovely baby shower (pictures in another gallery), and Adam got to ride ATVs and dune buggies out at the Imperial Sand Dunes. Emma and Aubrey had Zhu Zhu hamster wars with Uncle Adam, and the whole week was just a lot of fun.

Let's get this party started! : After a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a little cocktail hour to get things loosened up, everyone moved to the tent ... lights dimmed, anticipation was rising, and one by one, the bridal party entered to theme songs - working the crowd, shaking their money makers, totally hamming it up! Then for the grand entrance the Bride & Groom ran in during the buildup of Welcome to the Jungle and made a victory lap around the room! It was a moment I'll never forget - definitely set the tone for the party to come.

Hovey House in Gloucester, "a workin man's town" : My mom and Ron rented an 8 bedroom historic house for the week in Gloucester, Mass. ('a workin man's town") and it was filled with friends and family members. We also used the house to host the Sunday "Dunkin Donuts" brunch the day after the wedding to have one last time to see everyone on a beautiful fall day ... and ingest a week's worth of calories.
